Responsibilities
- Design and implement AWS/GCP/Azure infrastructure-as-code using Terraform and CloudFormation
- Optimize cloud environments for cost-efficiency and performance using FinOps principles
- Lead Kubernetes deployments and container orchestration strategies
- Develop CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS DevOps
- Implement robust security frameworks (IAM, VPC, encryption) and compliance standards
- Provide 24/7 on-call support and incident response for critical cloud services
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct cloud architecture reviews
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cloud engineering with AWS/Azure/GCP certifications
- Expertise in infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Strong Kubernetes experience (EKS, AKS, GKE)
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals (VPCs, VPNs, load balancing)
- Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog)
- Understanding of FinOps and cost optimization strategies
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent technical experience
