Responsibilities
- Design and deploy cloud infrastructure on AWS/Azure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and CloudFormation
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline for automated deployments
- Monitor and optimize cloud environments using tools like Datadog, New Relic, or CloudWatch
- Lead cloud security initiatives including IAM policies, encryption protocols, and compliance frameworks
- Provide 24/7 on-call support for production cloud environments with documented runbooks
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud services
- Document architecture decisions and maintain up-to-date technical documentation
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with AWS or Azure cloud platforms
- Expertise in container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker Swarm)
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
- Certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, Azure DevOps Engineer, or equivalent)
- Experience with infrastructure automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, Packer)
- Strong understanding of networking principles (VPC, VPN, Load Balancers)
- Proven track record of optimizing cloud costs and performance
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
