Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced AI frameworks for 2026-era applications in biotechnology and space exploration
- Lead cross-disciplinary research teams to solve complex global challenges using predictive AI models
- Develop ethical AI governance protocols for autonomous systems and human-AI symbiosis
- Collaborate with neuroscientists to create brain-computer interfaces for enhanced human cognition
- Produce whitepapers and patents for next-generation AI technologies with commercialization potential
- Mentor emerging AI talent through Horizon Labs' 2026 Innovation Fellowship program
Qualifications
- PhD in AI, Quantum Computing, or Computational Neuroscience with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven track record of publishing in Nature/Science or equivalent tier journals
- Expertise in transformer architectures, generative adversarial networks, and quantum machine learning
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum programming languages (Q# or Qiskit)
- Demonstrated ability to lead large-scale AI projects with $10M+ budgets
- Fluency in ethical AI frameworks and responsible innovation practices
- Experience with neuromorphic computing and brain-inspired AI systems
