Responsibilities
- Develop AI ethics governance frameworks aligned with EU AI Act, NIST standards, and emerging global regulations
- Conduct bias audits and impact assessments for autonomous decision-making systems
- Lead cross-functional ethics committees with engineering, legal, and product teams
- Create transparency protocols for explainable AI (XAI) deployment in critical infrastructure
- Advocate for ethical AI adoption through industry whitepapers and policy recommendations
- Monitor evolving AI ethics legislation and update compliance strategies proactively
- Train stakeholders on responsible AI development practices and ethical risk mitigation
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Philosophy, Ethics, Computer Science, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in AI governance, responsible tech, or ethics compliance
- Deep expertise in bias mitigation techniques for machine learning models
- Experience with regulatory frameworks (GDPR, CCPA, EU AI Act, NIST RMF)
- Proven ability to translate complex ethical concepts into technical requirements
- Published research or industry leadership in AI ethics or responsible innovation
- Strong stakeholder management skills across technical and non-technical audiences
- Knowledge of quantum computing and generative AI ethical implications
