Responsibilities
- Develop and implement AI ethics governance frameworks for autonomous systems
- Conduct algorithmic bias audits and mitigation strategies for 2026-generation models
- Lead cross-functional ethics committees with engineering, legal, and product teams
- Advise on regulatory compliance for emerging AI regulations across US states
- Research and publish position papers on AI ethics for industry conferences
- Train stakeholders on ethical AI deployment best practices
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Ethics, Computer Science, Philosophy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in AI ethics, governance, or responsible AI implementation
- Deep expertise in bias detection/mitigation and fairness metrics
- Experience with regulatory frameworks (EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating technical concepts to diverse audiences
- Published research in AI ethics or philosophy of technology
