Responsibilities
- Develop and implement AI ethics governance frameworks aligned with IEEE 7000 and EU AI Act standards
- Conduct bias audits and fairness assessments for machine learning models using tools like IBM AI Fairness 360
- Lead stakeholder workshops to establish ethical guidelines for generative AI applications
- Monitor regulatory landscape and advise on compliance with evolving AI governance policies
- Create transparency documentation for high-impact AI systems including model cards and datasheets
- Train engineering teams on ethical AI development practices and responsible innovation principles
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Ethics, Philosophy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 3+ years in AI governance, responsible AI, or tech ethics roles
- Expertise in bias mitigation techniques and fairness metrics (e.g., disparate impact analysis)
- Deep understanding of global AI regulations (EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, etc.)
- Experience with AI ethics toolkits (e.g., Google's What-If Tool, IBM's AI Explainability 360)
- Strong communication skills for translating complex ethical concepts to technical teams
- Certification in AI ethics or governance (e.g., Certified AI Ethics Professional) preferred
