Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a 2026 technology roadmap aligning with business objectives and market trends
- Analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) for strategic integration opportunities
- Lead innovation sprints and hackathons to prototype next-gen solutions
- Present futuristic vision to stakeholders through compelling narratives and data-driven insights
- Build and lead a specialized futurist team of researchers and engineers
- Monitor global tech disruption patterns and recommend preemptive strategies
- Partner with product teams to embed future-readiness into core offerings
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or R&D leadership
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, AR/VR, etc.)
- Proven track record of commercializing futuristic concepts
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Certification in futures thinking or technology forecasting (e.g., CFTe)
- Exceptional communication skills for executive-level presentations
- Experience building and scaling innovation teams in tech environments
- Portfolio of implemented future-focused initiatives
