Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology roadmap integrating quantum computing, biometric AI, and climate-responsive systems
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions with 18-month implementation cycles
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with disruptive potential
- Partner with C-suite executives to align technical strategy with business objectives
- Present strategic briefings to investors and board members quarterly
- Drive innovation through our $50M annual R&D fund allocation
- Mentor junior engineers in futuristic technology principles
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in future-tech planning
- PhD in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Proven track record in scaling quantum/AI initiatives beyond MVP phase
- Certification in Emerging Technology Management (ETM) or equivalent
- Published research in IEEE or Nature on post-2025 tech paradigms
- Experience securing $10M+ in R&D funding
- Expertise in agile methodologies for long-term tech roadmaps
- Fluency in at least two programming languages (Python/R preferred)
