Responsibilities
- Analyze global technology and societal trends to identify high-impact opportunities for 2026+ market disruption
- Develop and maintain horizon-scanning frameworks using AI-driven trend analysis and scenario planning
- Present strategic foresight findings to executive leadership and cross-functional innovation teams
- Design and lead immersive future-state workshops with stakeholders across product, engineering, and marketing
- Author forward-looking whitepapers and thought leadership content establishing industry authority
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype and validate emerging concepts through rapid experimentation
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory shifts affecting long-term strategic positioning
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Strategy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging tech research
- Proven expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.)
- Exceptional storytelling and data visualization skills for complex future scenarios
- Experience facilitating executive workshops and influencing strategic decision-making
- Published thought leadership in reputable industry journals or platforms
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., Delphi method, causal layered analysis)
