Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis for 2026+ technology landscape (quantum computing, AI ethics, neurotech)
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps with 5-10 year vision for emerging tech adoption
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype future-forward solutions and validate market viability
- Present foresight insights to executive stakeholders and board members
- Establish ethical frameworks for next-gen technology implementation
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget with ROI-focused resource allocation
- Drive thought leadership through industry publications and conference keynotes
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or futurist consulting
- Expertise in emerging technologies (quantum, AI, biotech, AR/VR)
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial strategies
- Advanced degree in Technology, Business, or Futurist Studies
- Strong data modeling and scenario planning capabilities
- Experience leading cross-functional innovation initiatives
- Published thought leader in tech futurism (IEEE, MIT Tech Review, etc.)
- Security clearance preferred for sensitive technology projects
