Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year product roadmaps for emerging tech sectors including quantum computing applications and neural interfaces
- Conduct horizon-scanning market analysis using predictive modeling and trend forecasting
- Lead cross-functional workshops with engineers, designers, and futurists to prototype 2026 solutions
- Author strategic whitepapers published in industry journals like 'Futures Quarterly'
- Partner with policy think tanks to align products with regulatory frameworks for 2030 readiness
- Manage $2M+ innovation budgets for prototyping and market validation
- Mentor junior strategists in foresight methodologies and scenario planning
Qualifications
- 10+ years in product strategy with demonstrated experience in emerging tech (quantum, AI, biotech)
- MBA or advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or equivalent
- Portfolio featuring at least 3 products launched in the last 5 years with global impact
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., CSF) or equivalent predictive analytics expertise
- Experience with scenario planning tools like Kumu.io or Palisade @Risk
- Published thought leadership in TechCrunch, WIRED, or similar tier publications
- Fluency in at least one predictive modeling language (Python/R) and visualization tools (Tableau/PowerBI)
