Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Windows Server and Linux environments across on-premises and cloud platforms
- Implement robust cybersecurity measures including firewalls, intrusion detection, and access controls
- Optimize system performance through proactive monitoring, tuning, and capacity planning
- Execute disaster recovery protocols and conduct regular backup verification
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on infrastructure automation using Ansible/Terraform
- Document IT infrastructure changes and create comprehensive technical documentation
- Provide Tier-3 support and lead complex troubleshooting initiatives
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise system administration
- Expert proficiency in Active Directory, VMware, and hybrid cloud architectures (AWS/Azure)
- Strong scripting capabilities (PowerShell, Python, Bash)
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent security certification required
- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Proven track record in designing and implementing high-availability solutions
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
