Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents within the SIEM environment (Splunk/Sentinel).
- Conduct daily vulnerability scans, risk assessments, and remediation planning to ensure compliance with industry standards (SOC2, HIPAA).
- Perform forensic analysis on security breaches and implement incident response plans to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with engineering and development teams to integrate security controls into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
- Manage and tune security appliances, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GCIH are highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity operations or a related role.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash) for automation and threat hunting.
- Deep understanding of network protocols, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and cloud security architectures (AWS/Azure).
