Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain on-premise servers, virtualization infrastructure (VMware/Hyper-V), and cloud environments (AWS/Azure).
- Implement and enforce robust security protocols, firewalls, and access controls to protect sensitive data.
- Perform system upgrades, patches, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance and availability.
- Collaborate with DevOps and development teams to streamline deployment processes and CI/CD pipelines.
- Monitor system health, analyze performance metrics, and proactively resolve technical issues before they escalate.
- Document IT infrastructure configurations, standard operating procedures, and incident reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- 5+ years of experience as a System Administrator or Network Engineer.
- Strong proficiency in Linux (RHEL, CentOS) and Windows Server administration.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Valid certification such as CompTIA Network+, Security+, AWS Solutions Architect, or CCNA.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
