Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain complex IT infrastructure, including on-premise servers and cloud environments (AWS/Azure).
- Manage and optimize network architecture to ensure high availability, scalability, and security.
- Implement and enforce robust security protocols, including firewalls, VPNs, and identity management (Active Directory).
- Develop and execute disaster recovery and business continuity plans to minimize downtime.
- Automate routine tasks and provisioning using scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
- Collaborate with DevOps and software engineering teams to streamline deployment and CI/CD pipelines.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot complex hardware and software issues in real-time.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a System Administrator or Network Engineer.
- Strong proficiency in Linux (RHEL, CentOS) and Windows Server environments.
- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration tools.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) and virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, AWS Solutions Architect, or RHCE are highly preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
