Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain on-premise servers, virtualization environments (VMware/Hyper-V), and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure).
- Implement and enforce strict security protocols, including firewalls, antivirus, and access controls.
- Provide Tier 3 technical support and troubleshooting for complex network and hardware issues.
- Automate administrative tasks using scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Perform regular system backups, disaster recovery planning, and hardware upgrades.
- Collaborate with the development team to ensure seamless deployment of applications.
- Maintain detailed documentation of system architecture and configurations.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience as a System Administrator or Network Engineer.
- Strong proficiency in Windows Server and Linux environments.
- In-depth knowledge of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and Active Directory.
- Experience with virtualization technologies and cloud platforms.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
