Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize Windows Server and Linux environments across hybrid cloud infrastructure
- Implement and maintain network security protocols including firewalls, VPNs, and access controls
- Oversee Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP services for 99.9% uptime SLA
- Automate routine tasks using PowerShell, Python, and Ansible
- Provide Tier 3 support and lead disaster recovery initiatives
- Monitor system performance using tools like SolarWinds and Nagios
- Document all processes and create technical SOPs
Qualifications
- 5+ years of enterprise system administration experience
- Expert-level knowledge of Windows Server 2019/2022 and Ubuntu Linux
- CCNA or CompTIA Security+ certification required
- Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and containerization
- Experience with scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, Bash)
- Strong understanding of ITIL frameworks and change management
- Ability to work flexible hours during system outages
