Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Linux/Windows Server environments across AWS and on-premises infrastructure
- Lead security hardening, patch management, and compliance initiatives (SOC2, HIPAA)
- Automate workflows using Python/Ansible for provisioning and configuration management
- Manage disaster recovery plans and conduct quarterly failover testing
- Provide tier-3 support and mentor junior sysadmins during complex incidents
- Optimize network performance with Cisco/Juniper solutions and load balancing
Qualifications
- 5+ years in enterprise system administration with cloud (AWS/Azure) expertise
- Advanced certifications: AWS SysOps or Azure Administrator
- Proficiency in Terraform, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines
- Strong scripting abilities (Python/Bash) for automation
- Experience with enterprise monitoring tools (Splunk, Datadog)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
