Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure Linux/Windows server environments
- Proactively monitor system health using tools like Nagios and Zabbix
- Execute disaster recovery testing and incident response protocols
- Automate workflows with Python/PowerShell scripting
- Manage AWS/Azure infrastructure and cloud security
- Optimize network performance across hybrid environments
- Document systems architecture and create SOPs
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipelines
Qualifications
- 5+ years of enterprise system administration experience
- Expert proficiency in Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu) and Active Directory
- AWS/Azure certification (Solutions Architect or equivalent)
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
- Hands-on experience with virtualization (VMware/KVM)
- Network fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs)
- ITIL or ITSM certification preferred
- Ability to work on-call rotation
