We're expanding our El Paso team and seeking a seasoned System Administrator to maintain our 24/7 operational systems. Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, and maintain Windows/Linux servers and virtual infrastructure
- Monitor system health, troubleshoot incidents, and implement security protocols
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and VPN services
- Automate tasks using PowerShell/Python and optimize backup/recovery processes
- Collaborate with network teams on firewall rules and compliance frameworks
- Document procedures and conduct quarterly system audits
Qualifications
- 5+ years of enterprise system administration experience
- Expertise in Windows Server 2016/2019 and Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu)
- Active Security+ or CompTIA Server+ certification required
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and hybrid architectures
- Experience with virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and container technologies
- Ability to work rotating on-call shifts and respond to critical incidents
- Valid Texas driver's license for occasional site visits
