Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain Linux/Windows server environments across on-premise and cloud platforms
- Implement robust security protocols including firewalls, intrusion detection, and access controls
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Ansible, Terraform, and PowerShell
- Monitor system performance using Nagios, Zabbix, and cloud-native monitoring tools
- Manage container orchestration with Kubernetes and Docker for scalable application deployments
- Lead disaster recovery planning and execute system restoration procedures
- Document infrastructure architecture and create operational runbooks
- Collaborate with development teams on CI/CD pipeline optimization
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with enterprise-level system administration
- Expert proficiency in Linux (RHEL/CentOS) and Windows Server environments
- AWS/Azure certification with deep cloud infrastructure knowledge
- Strong scripting capabilities (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
- Experience with virtualization (VMware vSphere/KVM) and containerization
- Proven track record in designing and implementing security frameworks
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with ability to resolve complex issues under pressure
