Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain Windows/Linux server environments and cloud infrastructure
- Implement and manage cybersecurity protocols including firewalls, VPNs, and access controls
- Automate system administration tasks using PowerShell, Ansible, or Terraform
- Monitor system performance using Nagios, Zabbix, or Splunk
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and IPAM solutions
- Document infrastructure architecture and troubleshoot complex technical issues
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipelines and container orchestration
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in system administration with enterprise environments
- Expertise in Windows Server 2019+ and Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu)
- Strong knowledge of AWS/Azure cloud services and hybrid architectures
- Certifications (CompTIA Server+, MCSA, or RHCSA) preferred
- Experience with virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and container technologies
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
- Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
