Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and optimize Linux/Windows server infrastructure across AWS and on-premises environments
- Implement robust security protocols including firewalls, encryption, and access controls
- Automate system administration tasks using Ansible, Terraform, and Python scripting
- Monitor system performance with tools like Nagios and Grafana to ensure 99.9% uptime
- Lead disaster recovery planning and execute incident response protocols
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipeline optimization
- Document infrastructure architecture and create runbooks for operational procedures
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise system administration with Linux/Windows environments
- Expert-level knowledge of AWS services (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM) and hybrid networking
- Strong scripting skills (Python/Bash) and experience with Infrastructure as Code tools
- CCNA or equivalent network certification required
- Proven experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Deep understanding of security frameworks (NIST, CIS) and compliance standards
- Excellent troubleshooting abilities with complex multi-tiered systems
- Strong written/verbal communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
