Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage complex cloud/on-premises infrastructure environments
- Ensure 99.9% system uptime through proactive monitoring and optimization
- Lead security initiatives including vulnerability assessments and compliance audits
- Develop automation scripts using Python/Ansible to streamline operations
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipeline implementation
- Document systems architecture and create disaster recovery plans
- Mentor junior administrators and conduct technical training sessions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years administering Linux/Windows Server environments
- AWS/Azure certification with hands-on multi-cloud experience
- Expertise in networking (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, VPNs)
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
- Experience with virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- ITIL foundation certification preferred
- Ability to troubleshoot complex issues under pressure
