Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize Linux/Windows server environments across on-premises and AWS cloud infrastructure
- Proactively monitor system health using Zabbix/Prometheus and resolve critical incidents within SLA
- Automate deployment pipelines with Ansible/Terraform and manage container orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Enforce robust cybersecurity protocols including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and zero-trust architecture
- Lead disaster recovery planning and execute quarterly failover tests
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate infrastructure-as-code practices
- Mentor junior engineers and document SOPs for complex systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/IT or equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years administering enterprise systems with 3+ years in cloud environments (AWS/Azure)
- Expert proficiency in Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu) and Active Directory/Windows Server
- Certifications: AWS SysOps Administrator or equivalent cloud certification
- Advanced scripting skills in Python, PowerShell, or Bash
- Experience with virtualization (VMware/KVM) and network fundamentals
- Demonstrated success in high-availability environments (99.95% uptime)
- Strong problem-solving abilities with incident management tools
