Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize Linux/Windows Server environments across on-premise and AWS/Azure cloud platforms
- Manage enterprise-level virtualization (VMware vSphere) and container orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Proactively monitor network security using SIEM tools and implement zero-trust architecture
- Automate infrastructure provisioning with Terraform and Ansible for DevOps workflows
- Lead disaster recovery planning and execute system patching/upgrades
- Collaborate with development teams on CI/CD pipeline optimization
- Document IT infrastructure and create runbooks for operational procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience (5+ years in system administration)
- Expert proficiency in Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu) and Active Directory management
- AWS/Azure certifications (Solutions Architect or DevOps Engineer preferred)
- Hands-on experience with network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN)
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
- Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and infrastructure-as-code
- Proven experience with monitoring tools (Zabbix, Nagios, Prometheus)
- Ability to troubleshoot complex cross-platform issues
