Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and conduct threat hunting across enterprise networks
- Investigate security incidents using SIEM tools and forensic methodologies
- Develop and implement security countermeasures against advanced persistent threats
- Generate comprehensive incident reports and executive security briefings
- Collaborate with IT teams to patch vulnerabilities and strengthen security posture
- Stay current with emerging threats and zero-day vulnerabilities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in cybersecurity operations or incident response
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Proficiency with SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions
- Experience with network protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work under pressure
- Active DoD Secret clearance preferred
