We are seeking a skilled and reliable IT Support Specialist to join our growing team in Minneapolis, MN. This is an urgent hire for a dynamic company that values technical expertise and customer service excellence.
In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our employees, resolving technical issues efficiently and ensuring business continuity. You will play a crucial role in maintaining our IT infrastructure and supporting a diverse workforce.
Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 & Tier 2 technical support via phone, email, and in-person for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Manage and resolve help desk tickets in our ticketing system (Zendesk/Jira) within SLA.
- Configure and troubleshoot end-user devices including laptops, printers, and mobile phones.
- Assist in the deployment and maintenance of local area networks (LAN) and wireless networks.
- Perform regular system backups and security updates to maintain data integrity.
- Collaborate with the IT Manager to identify areas for process improvement.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in IT or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in IT support or Help Desk.
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+ or Network+ are a plus.
- Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
