Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security events using SIEM tools such as Splunk or QRadar.
- Conduct vulnerability scans, penetration testing coordination, and security assessments.
- Enforce security policies and ensure compliance with industry standards (NIST, SOC 2).
- Configure and manage firewalls, antivirus, and endpoint protection systems.
- Investigate and remediate security incidents and malware infections.
- Collaborate with engineering and development teams to integrate security into the SDLC.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a SOC (Security Operations Center) environment.
- Certifications such as CISSP, Security+, CEH, or GSEC are highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of network protocols, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and security architectures.
- Experience with automation tools (Python, PowerShell) is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting to stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
