Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents within the Security Operations Center (SOC).
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing support to identify weaknesses in the infrastructure.
- Manage and configure firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection systems.
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory standards (GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS).
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to remediate security issues and improve system architecture.
- Perform daily log reviews and report on security metrics to management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field; or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or a related IT role.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CEH, or GCIH are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and cloud security (AWS/Azure).
- Familiarity with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) and threat hunting methodologies.
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to work under pressure in a 24/7 SOC environment.
