Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and SIEM dashboards to identify and investigate potential threats
- Conduct forensic analysis of security incidents and coordinate incident response protocols
- Develop and maintain security documentation including playbooks and incident reports
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on enterprise systems
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and harden network defenses
- Stay current on emerging threats and recommend proactive security measures
- Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation for critical incident response
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in cybersecurity analysis with hands-on SIEM experience (e.g., Splunk, QRadar)
- Industry certifications: CISSP, Security+, or CEH preferred
- Proficiency in network security tools (firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection)
- Strong knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK framework and threat hunting methodologies
- Experience with vulnerability scanning tools (Nessus, Qualys)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments with competing priorities
