Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and events across the network using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, Sentinel).
- Investigate, triage, and remediate security incidents and breaches in real-time.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses.
- Develop and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures (ISO 27001, NIST).
- Perform log analysis and threat hunting to proactively identify malicious activity.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security into the SDLC.
- Prepare reports on security posture and incident trends for executive leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or SOC operations.
- Certifications such as Security+, CEH, GCIH, or CISSP are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, OSI model, firewalls, VPNs, and IDS/IPS.
- Experience with tools like Splunk, Wireshark, or Snort.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
