Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using diagnostic tools and troubleshoot connectivity issues
- Implement security protocols to protect against cyber threats and vulnerabilities
- Document network changes, configurations, and incident reports
- Collaborate with IT teams on infrastructure upgrades and system migrations
- Provide Tier 2/3 technical support to resolve complex network problems
- Optimize network bandwidth and ensure compliance with industry standards
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in network administration and infrastructure support
- CCNA or CompTIA Network+ certification required
- Proficiency in Cisco, Juniper, and Palo Alto technologies
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and VLAN configurations
- Experience with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, Nagios, PRTG)
- Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to document technical procedures
- Ability to work flexible hours including occasional on-call duties
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for site visits
