Responsibilities
- Monitor security information and event management (SIEM) systems for suspicious activity
- Document and escalate potential security incidents to senior analysts
- Assist in vulnerability assessments and penetration testing exercises
- Review firewall logs and network traffic patterns
- Participate in security awareness training for employees
- Maintain security documentation and compliance reports
- Collaborate with IT teams on security infrastructure improvements
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, etc.)
- Interest in cybersecurity fundamentals and willingness to learn
