Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and data communication systems.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues to minimize downtime.
- Perform routine maintenance on network hardware and software to ensure optimal operation.
- Implement and enforce network security policies and protocols.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business requirements and IT initiatives.
- Document network architecture, configurations, and changes for future reference.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or Certificate in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Valid CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent networking certification is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in network administration or engineering.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, and VLANs.
- Proficiency with network diagnostic tools and diagnostic software.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
