The Role
As a Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting our business decisions by analyzing complex datasets, identifying trends, and creating visualizations that stakeholders can easily understand. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy and drive strategic initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Cleaning: Gather, clean, and validate large datasets from various sources to ensure accuracy and integrity.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform advanced statistical analysis to identify patterns, trends, and correlations within the data.
- Reporting & Visualization: Create interactive dashboards and reports using tools like Tableau or Power BI to communicate findings to stakeholders.
- SQL Development: Write complex SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from relational databases efficiently.
- Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in current data processes and propose solutions to improve data quality and speed.
- Collaboration: Partner with product managers and engineers to define data requirements and success metrics.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a similar role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Python, or R. Experience with visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or Looker) is highly preferred.
- Analytical Mindset: Strong ability to interpret complex data and translate it into simple, actionable business insights.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present findings to non-technical audiences.
