Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable software solutions using Java, Python, and cloud technologies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality features on accelerated timelines
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and automated testing for weekend release cycles
- Optimize system performance and resolve production issues during weekend operational windows
- Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to technical documentation
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct code reviews during weekend sprints
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of experience in software development with weekend shift preference
- Proficiency in Java, Python, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP)
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, microservices architecture, and DevOps practices
- Experience with Agile methodologies and version control systems (Git)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently during off-hours
- Strong communication skills with remote team collaboration experience
