Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-performance microservices using Java and Spring Boot
- Design AWS-based cloud infrastructure with Terraform and CI/CD pipelines
- Implement RESTful APIs and GraphQL endpoints for mobile/web applications
- Collaborate with product teams using Agile methodologies in Jira
- Optimize database performance through PostgreSQL indexing and query tuning
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers on weekend rotations
- Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation for critical systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of production experience with Java and Spring ecosystem
- Proficiency in AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS)
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture and event-driven design
- Experience with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes
- Demonstrable expertise in test-driven development with JUnit/Mockito
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts with async communication
- Portfolio showcasing complex system design and deployment projects
