Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend services using Java and Python
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement responsive web applications
- Optimize database queries and implement caching strategies for improved performance
- Write comprehensive unit tests and conduct code reviews to ensure quality
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning
- Monitor application health and troubleshoot production issues
- Mentor junior engineers and share technical knowledge
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of experience with Java, Python, and cloud technologies (AWS/GCP)
- Proficiency in RESTful API development and microservices architecture
- Strong understanding of relational databases (SQL) and NoSQL solutions
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts (Sat-Sun)
- Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset
