Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable microservices using Go and Kubernetes
- Optimize cloud infrastructure for weekend deployment pipelines
- Lead weekend sprint retrospectives and backlog refinement
- Collaborate with global teams via async communication channels
- Own feature development from concept to production deployment
- Contribute to open-source projects aligned with company tech stack
- Mentor junior engineers during weekend rotations
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in backend development with Go/Python
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and container orchestration
- Strong background in CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code
- Proven track record of shipping production systems
- Comfortable with async communication and self-directed work
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Experience with weekend shift environments preferred
