Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable software applications using modern technologies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality code and features
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing systems for peak performance
- Implement security best practices and ensure code quality through peer reviews
- Document technical specifications and create comprehensive API documentation
- Mentor junior engineers and share knowledge within the development team
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of professional software development experience
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (Java, Python, or JavaScript)
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (Docker)
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (Git)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a weekend shift environment
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with remote teams
