Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy high-performance software solutions for weekend operations
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for rapid deployment cycles
- Collaborate with global teams via async communication tools (Slack, Jira)
- Monitor system health during peak weekend traffic and proactively resolve issues
- Contribute to code reviews and maintain documentation standards
- Optimize application performance and security protocols
- Mentor junior engineers during weekend on-call rotations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of professional software development experience
- Proficiency in Python, Java, or JavaScript with React/Node.js
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Strong understanding of RESTful API design and microservices
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Comfortable with weekend shift schedules (Sat-Sun 8am-5pm PT)
