We're seeking a creative problem-solver to lead user research, wireframing, and prototyping for our fintech platform. This hybrid role offers the perfect blend of remote flexibility and in-person collaboration at our state-of-the-art downtown Fort Wayne studio.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end UX design processes including user research, persona development, and journey mapping
- Create high-fidelity wireframes, prototypes, and design systems using Figma and Adobe XD
- Collaborate with product managers and engineers to implement design solutions
- Conduct usability testing and iterate based on user feedback
- Develop design documentation and maintain style guides
- Mentor junior designers and promote design thinking across the organization
- Analyze user behavior data to continuously improve user experience
Qualifications
- 3+ years of UX/UI design experience with portfolio demonstrating complex projects
- Proficiency in Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, and prototyping tools
- Strong understanding of design systems and component-based design
- Experience with user research methodologies including interviews and usability testing
- Bachelor's degree in UX Design, HCI, or related field
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS fundamentals for design handoff
- Experience working in agile development environments
- Portfolio showcasing both process and polished deliverables
