Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy high-performance cloud-native applications using microservices architecture
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes for automated deployments
- Conduct thorough code reviews and unit testing to ensure robust, maintainable code
- Optimize application performance and scalability through continuous monitoring and refinement
- Document technical specifications and API endpoints for cross-team alignment
- Participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning and retrospectives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of professional software development experience in weekend shift environments
- Expertise in at least two modern programming languages (Python, Java, Go, or TypeScript)
- Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and serverless architectures
- Strong understanding of RESTful API design and GraphQL implementations
- Experience with container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform)
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex distributed systems in production environments
- Excellent written communication skills for remote collaboration and documentation
