Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain high-quality, scalable software solutions for our 24/7 infrastructure.
- Debug complex issues during low-traffic windows to ensure 99.99% uptime.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, QA, DevOps) to define feature requirements and technical architecture.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following industry best practices.
- Participate in code reviews and perform technical mentoring for junior engineers.
- Optimize database queries and application performance to handle high loads.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 4+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Proficiency in Java, Python, or Go (Java preferred for this role).
- Strong experience with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Redis.
- Experience with AWS or cloud-native services (EC2, S3, Lambda).
- Must be available and willing to work the Night Shift (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM EST or similar).
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work remotely with California-based teams.
