Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and deploy scalable cloud-native applications during night shift hours
- Monitor and maintain production systems, responding to incidents within SLA
- Collaborate with global teams on infrastructure automation using Terraform and CI/CD pipelines
- Optimize system performance and implement security best practices
- Lead root cause analysis for production issues and implement preventive measures
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and technical documentation
- Contribute to architectural decisions for microservices and distributed systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of experience in backend development (Go, Java, or Python)
- Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and container orchestration
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently during night shifts
- Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana) and incident response
- CI/CD pipeline experience (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI)
- Excellent communication skills for cross-team collaboration
