Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy high-performance microservices using Go and Kubernetes
- Architect cloud-native solutions on AWS with 99.99% availability SLAs
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and technical reviews
- Optimize database performance and implement CI/CD pipelines
- Collaborate with Product and Design teams to translate requirements into elegant code
- Own feature lifecycle from conception to production deployment
- Contribute to open-source projects and patent innovations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of production experience with backend systems
- Expertise in Go, Python, or Java with strong algorithmic fundamentals
- Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and containerization
- Experience with distributed systems and event-driven architecture
- Strong problem-solving skills with system design expertise
- Portfolio demonstrating scalable system implementations
- US citizenship or permanent residency required
