Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and deploy scalable backend services using Java and Python
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design secure cloud infrastructure on AWS
- Optimize database performance and troubleshoot complex system issues
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Docker
- Lead code reviews and mentor junior engineers
- Document technical specifications and API endpoints
- Participate in Agile ceremonies with distributed teams
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development
- Proficiency in Java, Python, and SQL databases
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture
- Certification in AWS or Azure cloud platforms
- Experience with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools and DevOps practices
- Ability to work independently during night shift hours
