Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable cloud-native applications using microservices architecture
- Lead 24/7 incident response and system optimization during night operations
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and code reviews
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes
- Collaborate with global teams via agile methodologies (Jira/Confluence)
- Optimize database performance and troubleshoot complex production issues
- Contribute to technical documentation and API specifications
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development (Java/Python/Node.js)
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and containerization
- Proven track record in building high-throughput RESTful APIs
- Strong background in database design (SQL/NoSQL) and caching strategies
- Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus/Grafana) and observability
- Ability to work independently during night shifts with minimal supervision
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent technical certification
