Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts and events using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, Sentinel).
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Respond to and mitigate cybersecurity incidents in real-time.
- Enforce security policies and compliance standards (NIST, ISO 27001).
- Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to patch vulnerabilities and secure cloud environments.
- Prepare detailed incident reports and security documentation.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity or network security.
- Certifications: CISSP, Security+, CEH, or GCIH preferred.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, and IDS/IPS systems.
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) is highly desirable.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote setting.
